Each college decides its fee structure and submits it to the KEA or Karnataka Examination Authority, which conducts the counselling procedures for private dental colleges in Karnataka.

This is an average range for BDS payment seat fees in Karnataka. And you don’t have to worry seeing the fees of Rs.30 Lakhs, as it is for the top colleges in Karnataka like Manipal Dental College.
And the hostel fees for private dental colleges in Karnataka range from Rs.60,000 to Rs.1,50,000 depending on each college and the type of room you choose.
Then you can go to colleges in Delhi NCR, where your total package for BDS will be 9 lakhs including hostel and food.

Extra Fees for BDS in Karnataka
Apart from the tuition fees and hostel fees, there are many extra fees charged b dental colleges in Karnataka. These fees vary from college to college.
But still, I want you to be aware of these so that you can plan your budget for joining any college.
- University Fees: These are the fees towards university every candidate have to pay each year before their final examination. This is also called an Examination fee, which ranges from Rs.5,000 to Rs.15,000 depending on the number of subjects.
- Material Fees: Some colleges charge these as yearly fees or some colleges charge them as one-time fees. These are the charges for the dental materials you are using during your clinical and pre-clinical studies.
- Refundable Deposit: Very few colleges in Karnataka asks you to pay a security deposit which will be refunded to you after your internship.
